On Site Wastewater Treatment Systems

Most on-site wastewater systems, especially septic tanks, are regulated by local agencies (e.g., counties), and these agencies are best able to provide permitting information at this time. The State Water Resources Control Board is developing statewide regulations for on-site wastewater treatment systems. In time, more information regarding on-site wastewater treatment systems will be available here.
