Pilot South Bay VOC Plume Electronic Reporting Project - Jan. 2002 Update

N O T I C E

TO: All parties that submitted electronic monitoring information to the S.F. Regional Board pursuant to our November 2000 request letter

RE: Postponing 2002 submittal and Update on Project Status

This is to notify you that the Regional Board will not require submittal of the electronic reporting data for 2002 at this time. We anticipate that we will begin requesting non-fuel cases to submit electronic reports to using GeoTracker (http://geotracker.swrcb.ca.gov/) beginning in late 2002 and will contact you with reporting details at a later time.

With regard to your 2001 data submittals, we have summarized the results in Section 7.3 of a report titled: "Comprehensive Groundwater Protection Evaluation for South San Francisco Bay Basins" available for down loading at http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/sanfranciscobay/sobayground.shtml.

We also plan to make the composite plume coverages (zip) available on this web site as a downloadable ArcView Shape File and Excel spreadsheet. This should be ready in January 2002 and we will notify you of the web address when the files are posted.

Effective January 7, 2002 Keith Roberson will be the S.F. Regional Board contact for this project.
