Small Community Wastewater Grant Program - Competitive Project Lists (CPL)

The current CPL is being amended to include new potential projects to facilitate timely expenditure of SCWG Program funds. Projects on the current CPL will remain on the list. All projects will be evaluated to ensure they are properly classified as Class A (Existing or Potential Public Health Problems), B (Pollution Problems), or C (Other Projects), according to Section IV of the Guidelines. Per State Water Board Resolution No. No. 2007-0052, only projects in Class A and Class B will be eligible to compete for available funding. Applicants may be eligible to receive up to two million dollars in SCWG Program funds. Placement on either the Regional CPL or the Statewide CPL does not guarantee grant funds will be provided to the applicant.

  • 2007 - The 2007 Statewide Competitive Project List (Statewide List) for the SCWG Program was adopted, as proposed, by the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) at the September 4, 2007 meeting. The 2007 Statewide List combines new projects recommended by the Regional Water Boards, with eligible projects from the 2004 Statewide Competitive Project List, creating a single Statewide List.
