Education and Public Outreach
PUBLIC OUTREACH PROGRAM
One of our main goals in the State Water Resources Control Board's Education and Outreach program is to reach out and educate the general public about water quality issues, and water pollution prevention. This general outreach supplements those aspects of our program designed to specifically reach schools and industry.
On the following links, you will find valuable outreach documents, tools and activities designed to reach out to municipalities, service clubs, civic organizations, watershed groups, youths and other members of the general public. It is through such outreach that we hope to actively engage the general public in our collective efforts to change public behaviors and protect our surface and ground water from pollution sources.
