Education and Public Outreach
CURRICULUM
The State Water Resources Control Board's education program is devoted to offering the very best in water education for the California teaching community.
The State Water Board has developed a water monitoring tool for grades 4-6 as well as an afterschool program focusing on water quality.
Also, the Board is promoting a partnership with the California Regional Environmental Education Community (CREEC) network and the Water Education Foundation on statewide water education workshops. The Foundation's Project WET (Water Education for Teachers), a national water education program designed to promote awareness, appreciation, knowledge and stewardship of water resources. Please call (916) 444-6240 to arrange a Project WET workshop for your school district.
