Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund - Grants for Installing USTs
Grant Amount - Grant funds up to $30,000.
Grant funds are available to Small Businesses for underground storage tanks (USTs) installed after July 1, 2004. Tanks must have been installed within last 12 months.
Grant funds can only be used for the following:
- Leak Detection equipment costs required to maintain the UST’s interstitial space.
- Cost associated with requirements to test the UST during and after installation to demonstrate that it is product tight.
A grant may be issued before the installation of the tank(s), or within 12 months after the tank has been installed.
