Phase 4 Public Processes and Opportunities for Participation

This webpage includes information about public processes associated with Phase 4 of the Bay-Delta effort. In Phase 4, the State Water Board will develop and implement tributary-specific policies for water quality control (policies) for priority tributaries to the Bay-Delta watershed, with a focus on the Sacramento River watershed. This effort includes: 1) development of non-binding flow criteria, 2) development of flow objectives and implementation plans, 3) development of policies that incorporate flow objectives, methods for adaptive management, and implementation plans, and 4) implementation of policies through conditioning of water rights and other measures as appropriate.

There will be a variety of opportunities to provide information as part of the Phase 4 flow objective setting process. Opportunities for participation associated with Phase 4 of the Bay-Delta effort include: public workshops, opportunities to comment on draft documents, and other opportunities to provide input.
