Management Practice Evaluation Program Workplan
Stakeholders and other interested parties are invited to submit written comments on the Management Practice Evaluation Program (MPEP) Workplan submitted by the Southern San Joaquin Valley MPEP Committee on 21 November 2016. The deadline to submit written comments to be considered prior to the Executive Officer determination of whether to approve the MPEP is 30 December 2016. The Central Valley Water Board Executive Officer approved the Management Practice Evaluation Program (MPEP) Coordination Agreement for the Southern San Joaquin Valley MPEP Group on 3 June 2015 (Revised March 2016). The primary goal of the MPEP is to determine the effects, if any, irrigated agricultural practices have on first encountered groundwater under different conditions.
