Request Technical Assistance to Complete the EAR (for Eligible Systems Only)
The Water Board offers assistance to eligible water systems for more in-depth help to complete the EAR through the Water Board’s Division of Financial Assistance Technical Assistance Program.
***The DEADLINE to submit a Technical Assistance request for the 2020 EAR is April 20, 2021***
Eligible water systems: TA is available to Community Water Systems (CWS) and Nontransient Noncommunity (NTNC) Water Systems,and Transient Noncommunity Water (TNC) Systems with priority to CWSs serving small (less than 10,000 people) disadvantaged (median household income [MHI] < 80% statewide MHI) communities (small DACs). NTNC and TNC Water Systems are strongly encouraged to reach out to their DDW District Office or LPA program staff to resolve questions about the 2020 EAR before requesting TA.
NOTE: Each public water system is responsible for complying with the deadline for submission of the 2020 EAR of May 15, 2021, regardless of the status of submission of or response to any TA request.
