A TMDL has been approved for this water segment-pollutant combination. The Calleguas Creek Nitrogen TMDL was adopted by the Los Angeles RWQCB on October 24, 2002 and subsequently approved by USEPA. The TMDL was been integrated into the Basin Plan as Basin Plan Amendment 2002-017.
Oxnard Drain No. 3 is addressed in the staff report and the Basin Plan Amendment defines load allocations for oxidized nitrogen in other agricultural drains in the lower Calleguas watershed... USEPA omitted the drain in the original approval letter and in a subsequent letter conferred approval of the TMDL for the drain. |
