Project Name:

Austin Creek Stormwater Trash Capture

Vallejo, Solano County
Comment Period:

6/17/2022 - 7/8/2022
Project Description:

The overall goal of the project is to reduce trash load under Provision C.10 of the City of Vallejo’s MRP by installing a new stormwater trash capture structure at the existing Austin Creek outfall. Installing a trash capture device as the Austin Creek outfall would treat approximately 1,000 acres of high, medium, and low trash-generating areas. Reducing trash load would improve the water quality and adjacent habitat of Austin Creek.
