The San Francisco Region Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. The purpose of this project, led by Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District in partnership with the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (CCCSD), is to reduce flood risk to the adjacent CCCSD wastewater treatment plant and protect against wastewater releases to adjacent waters. |
