Data Used to Assess Water Quality: Central Coast Regional Board Staff assessed Sand Crab Tissue Monitoring (SandCrabs) data From fourteen distinct sampling locations along Avila Beach (Avila Pier) to determine beneficial use support and results are as follows: all 14 samples exceed the criterion for total PCBs. In all cased, anachlor 1254 exceded the evaluation guideline and results for anachlors 1248 and 1260 were non-detects.
