Project Name:

Berkeley Marina Docks D and E Replacement Project
City/County:

Berkeley, Alameda County
Comment Period:

4/30/2024 - 5/20/2024
Project Description:

The purpose of the Project is to replace existing, dilapidated structures at Docks D and E and associated infrastructure of the Berkeley Marina. The existing structures are approximately 50 years old; the wooden docks and rotted chemically-treated timber piles pose safety and access issues for members of the Berkely Marina as well as water quality/wildlife issues, and require replacement. Upgrades to Docks D and E and associated infrastructure, including a new configuration, are also needed to improve security and provide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design compliant access to the docks, gangway, and the surrounding parking lot, sidewalks, and restroom.
