The photos were reviewed to assess sedimenation problem in the Tijuana River valley and estuary Photos from February 13, 2008 Powerpoint presentation exhibit the sedimentation problem within the watershed. Aerial and ground level photographs show the changes that have occurred due to large storm events and over time. The occurrence of conditions judged to cause impairment and therefore exceed the water quality objective.
Based on the readily available data and information, the weight of evidence indicates that there is sufficient justification in favor of placing this water segment-pollutant combination on the section 303(d) list in the Water Quality Limited Segments category.
