Implementation Action Other than TMDL: | Natomas East Main Drainage Canal (aka Steelhead Creek, downstream of confluence with Arcade Creek) is primarily an urban drain. Site was listed in the Basin Plan Amendment for the Control of Diazinon and Chlorpyrifos Discharges Final Staff Report, 2014. Sampling indicated that it is no longer impaired due to a reduction of Diazinon in urban settings and updated management practices.

Based on the readily available data and information, the weight of evidence indicates that there is sufficient justification for removing this water segment-pollutant combination from the CWA section 303(d) List. This conclusion is based on the staff findings that: 1. The data used satisfies the data quality requirements of section 6.1.4 of the Policy. 2. The data used satisfies the data quantity requirements of section 6.1.5 of the Policy. 3.
