Water Board staff assessed Ag Waiver data for Los Gatos Creek (Fresno County) to determine beneficial use support and results are as follows: Three of four samples exceed the calculated, hardness based criterion for total Lead. One of four samples did not have a hardness value with which to calculate a lead criterion. However, based on an assumed hardness values of 12,000 mg/L, which is 10 times the highest reported hardness value (1,200 mg/L), the sample exceeded the calculated lead criterion. Regardless, this sample result was not counted as a sample or an exceedance.
