San Diego Region - Basin Plan Amendments
Introduction
Basin Plan amendments generally are developed during the investigation of Basin Plan issues identified and prioritized during the most recent Triennial Review of the Basin Plan. Many amendments are developed to incorporate Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs ) into the Basin Plan to address impaired waters on the Clean Water Act, section 303(d) List of Water Quality Limited Segments.
