Project Description: |
Desedimentation and restoration of Pond 17 is required to restore habitat for California tiger salamander. It will also have the added benefit of an improved water source for cattle grazing, which is used as a management tool to maintain upland habitat for California tiger salamander and to maintain high-quality habitat for serpentine endemic plants and wildlife, including Bay checkerspot butterfly (Federally Threatened), Santa Clara Valley dudleya (Federally Endangered), among other species. |
