Furlough Information

Furloughs are no longer in effect. The Regional Board Office is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

 

July 28, 2010, Governor Schwarzenegger issued Executive Order S-12-10 imposing three furlough days per month effective August 1, 2010. In order to comply with this order the Department of Personnel Administration (DPA) has directed state offices to be closed the second, third and fourth Fridays of each month. August 20, 2010 is the first scheduled furlough day.

During this time, the Water Boards will not be accepting, posting or processing environmental documents the second, third or fourth Friday of each month. Documents that would normally be delivered through the United States Postal Service or other mail carrier services on those Fridays will be received and processed on the following Monday. All environmental document posting, processing, and distribution will continue as usual on the days that the offices of the Water Boards are open.

We recognize this may cause an inconvenience. We look forward to continuing to serve you.
