Organochlorine Compounds (OCs) TMDLs for San Diego Creek, Upper and Lower Newport Bay

On July 26, 2013, the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved Santa Ana Regional Board Resolution No. R8-2011-0037 under OAL File No. 2013-0613-02S.

On October 16, 2012, the State Water Resources Control Board (State Board) approved Santa Ana Regional Board Resolution No. R8-2011-0037:

Resolution No. 2012-0051, Approving an Amendment to the Water Quality Control Plan for the Santa Ana Region to Incorporate Organochlorine Compounds Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for San Diego Creek, Upper and Lower Newport Bay, Orange County, California

 

The technical Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for Toxic Pollutants, San Diego Creek and Newport Bay, was promulgated by USEPA Region 9 in June 2002.  The constituents addressed in the TMDL incl12/21/17als, and organochlorine (OC) compounds.  For the OC compounds, Regional Board staff plans to recommend that the Santa Ana Regional Board adopt a resolution to incorporate the technical TMDL with an implementation plan into the Basin Plan on or about December 2006.
