WHEREAS:

1. The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) served as lead agency for preparation of an initial study and preparation of a negative declaration for the projects proposed in water right Applications 29323, 29324, 29355, and 29356, and petitions to change Permit 16684 (Application 24336) and License 12125 (Application 26123).

2. The initial study and negative declaration were circulated for public review.

3. No comments on the initial study or the negative declaration were received during the public review period.

4. The SWRCB has considered the initial study and the negative declaration.

5. The SWRCB concludes that there is no substantial evidence that the projects authorized by the proposed decision on water right Applications 29323, 29324, 29355, and 29356, and petitions to change Permit 16684 (Application 24336) and License 12125 (Application 26123) will have a significant effect on the environment.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The SWRCB approves the negative declaration for the projects which will be authorized by adoption of the proposed decision approving water right Applications 29323, 29324, 29355, and 29356, and petitions to change Permit 16684 (Application 24336) and License 12125 (Application 26123).

The undersigned Administrative Assistant to the SWRCB does hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true, and correct copy of a resolution duly and regularly adopted at a meeting of the SWRCB held on August 21, 1997.
