    This is a Notice of Public Hearing and Notice of Filing of Draft Environmental Documents for the proposed Basin Plan amendment to modify beneficial uses of and establish new water quality objectives for mercury in Sulphur Creek (Colusa County). The public hearing will be conducted during the 15/16 March 2007 Water Board meeting at the Regional Water Board office, 11020 Sun Center Drive, Suite 200, Rancho Cordova, CA.

    The public review draft staff report can be downloaded below. In order to be included in the written response to comments that is a part of the final administrative record, written comments should be submitted by 28 February 2007 to Karen Larsen, Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, 11020 Sun Center Drive, #200, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. At the hearing on 15/16 March 2007 staff will summarize the written comments and present a final recommendation for Water Board consideration. Interested persons will be provided the opportunity to present oral comments to the Water Board at the hearing, and are expected to orally summarize their written submittals. Oral testimony will be limited in time by the Water Board Chair.
