New! Public comment period open on the Updated Clean Water Act Sections 305(b) and 303(d) Integrated Report of the Lahontan Region. Comments due June 15, 2009. (posted 05/04/09)

Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) are water quality restoration plans required by the Federal Clean Water Act (CWA) to ensure the attainment of water quality standards in impaired surface water bodies. Impaired surface waters are identified on the CWA 303(d) list. See the 2006 Section 303(d) List of Water Quality Limited Segments.

If you have questions about the Lahontan Region's 303(d) List, contact Judith Unsicker.

Below are the TMDL development projects that the Lahontan Regional Board is currently working on or has completed. Projects have links to documents or other information available for viewing or downloading.
