Lost River, Lower TMDL
This webpage provides information on the Lower Lost River TMDLs, currently under development. The Klamath Basin TMDL Fact Sheet provides general information about the TMDL process in the Klamath Basin, including the Lower Lost River.
The Lower Lost River TMDLs address those areas of the Lost River downstream of Oregon, including Tule Lake, the Lower Klamath Lake National Wildlife Refuge, and associated areas in California. The Lower Lost River is listed on the Section 303(d) List as impaired for nutrients, temperature, and pH.
A draft analysis of water quality conditions, sources and dynamics is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2005.
