Lost River, Upper TMDL
The Upper Lost River watershed is located in Modoc County, and includes the Lost River upstream of the Oregon border, Clear Lake Reservoir, and tributaries. The Upper Lost River is listed on the Section 303(d) List as impaired for nutrients conditions and water temperature. North Coast Regional Board staff have completed an analysis of beneficial uses and water quality conditions in the Upper Lost River watershed and concluded that the listing is not warranted. Documents were made available for public review in August 2004. Written responses were provided for each comment received. Some of the comments resulted in changes to the TMDL analysis document. The revised TMDL Analysis Document and the Response to Comments are now available.
