ELAP’s Strategic Communications Action Plan (SCAP) was created based on the initial recommendation of the Expert Review Panel. It was designed to fill the gap that existed between ELAP and stakeholders by promoting consistent, clear communication from ELAP to the community. Version 1.0 was released in August 2015.

The plan is a living document and ELAP is always accepting comments or suggestions to improve its content. It is currently under revision to recognize and adjust for the changes that have taken place since its release. Version 2.0 will be released spring 2016 with new messaging and communications methods.
