Tentative
Addendum No. 1 to Order No. R9-2007-0001 will extend the deadlines of certain
permit requirements by 60 days from 365 days to 425 days following the adoption
of Order No. R9-2007-0001. The extension of the deadlines is necessitated by the
recent wildfires of October 2007 and the unforeseeable delays in previously scheduled
work required by Order No. R9-2007-0001 that has resulted from the wildfires.
The official
public review and comment period is the opportunity for interested parties to
provide comment on the proposed deadline extensions. Written comments or testimony
on the proposed changes included in Tentative Addendum No. 1 should be submitted
to the Regional Board as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 PM December
5, 2007. Only written comments or testimony received by 5:00 PM on December 5,
2007 will be provided to the Regional Board members for their consideration prior
to the December 12, 2007 public hearing. The Regional Board will consider oral
statements at the December 12, 2007 public hearing.
