 Aboveground Petroleum Storage Program (APSP)

This program applies to facilities with petroleum tank storage capacities greater than 10,000 gallons and to facilities covered under federal oil pollution prevention regulations (40 Code of Federal Regulations section 112). Regulated facilities are subject to inspection by the Regional Board. If there have been spills or leaks that do, or could, impact water quality, cleanup will be required. Facilities must file "Storage Statements" and pay fees to the State every two years.
