California Integrated Water Quality System Project (CIWQS)

PUBLIC REPORTS USERS GROUP

This group formed during the November 2007 CIWQS Summit. The group met with the goal of making available reports more user-friendly, with “middle level information,” and high quality data. There was also a desire to have reports that are more than just violation oriented.

Recognizing that some of the needed items would take a long time to accomplish, one of the participants at the first meeting suggested that the group focus on some quick accomplishments and the group generally agreed with this approach.

The group’s accomplishments include a glossary of terms posting on the Public Reports web site, the addition of a violation description to the Public Violation Report, and the development of a Data Error Tracking Tool.

Meetings are currently being held via teleconference on a monthly basis. Refer to the contact information below if you would like to participate.
