Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund - Assignment of Claim
In April 2000, the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) adopted an order that allows, under certain circumstances, the Fund to honor a claimant’s assignment of its rights to reimbursement from the Fund. (See In the Matter of the Petition of the Lake Publishing Company, Order: WQ 2000-06-UST (Lake). Information regarding assignments and “Sample Provisions for Assignments” is available below. The Sample Provisions for Assignments is a guidance document, which can be used by parties to enter into their assignment agreement.
