Aquinas Trail Emergency Repair
The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
On 12/24/2025, staff identified a slide that occurred on the Aquinas Trail. Logs, mud, and rocks plugged a 48” steel corrugated culvert. This is potentially a chronic problem in this drainage given the amount of sediment and vegetation load in the drainage above and below the culvert. The last slide event in this drainage was in 2018 which deposited a similar amount of material during a heavy rain event. |
