| Project Description: |
The purpose is to repair the existing flood risk management project riverbank to the level of protection prior to the damaging storm event, under the PL 84-99 Program. The USACE is authorized to repair active flood risk management projects damaged or destroyed by floods when the sponsor requests assistance under the federal PL 84-99 program (Emergency Rehabilitation Program); the intent is to ensure that damaged flood risk management projects are operationally effective prior to the next flood season. |
