The San Francisco Region Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
SFPP has identified a federal regulatory requirement per Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration to complete direct assessments on its 8-inch Line Section 72 (LS-72) pipeline which SFPP is scheduling to complete in Year 2022. The location of the required assessment (CA-215) was determined by pipeline in-line inspection tools and now will require direct assessment by excavation. SFPP will have a contractor evaluate the current pipeline condition at CA- 215 by excavation and will complete repairs, as necessary, to maintain the pipeline’s integrity. |
