2026 Boardwalk Maintenance Projects (Ignacio-Alto-Sausalito #1 & #2 60kV Corte Madera and Newark-Kifer 115kV Pond A18
The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. We encourage public comments on the proposed work, which will be considered in the decision on certification. You may submit comments on this project to the staff member below.

| Project Description: |
The purpose of these Projects is to provide safe, all-weather, pedestrian access PG&E’s electrical transmission towers for ongoing inspections, operations, and maintenance activities. Work at Newark-Kifer 115kV Pond A18 will also involve the permanent removal and decommissioning of boardwalks that are no longer needed for access. |
