Section 401 Water Quality Certification Public Notice

The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description:

The proposed Evolving Shorelines Project would include tidal marsh restoration and re-alignment of a segment of the San Francisco Bay Trail. The geotechnical investigation is a continuation of geotechnical data gathering initiated in 2022. The proposed additional borings would support preliminary engineering for a retaining wall structure that would parallel Almonte Boulevard and support the realigned Bay Trail.
