The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
The purpose of the project and for which WETA seeks authorization is to remove the existing float and replace in kind with a new Universal Charging Float (UCF). The float will house batteries, charging electronics, and associated electrical conduits to rapidly charge ferry vessels during passenger loading and unloading. |
