The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description:

The purpose of the project and for which WETA seeks authorization is to remove the existing float and replace in kind with a new Universal Charging Float (UCF). The float will house batteries, charging electronics, and associated electrical conduits to rapidly charge ferry vessels during passenger loading and unloading.
