Former Ford Aeronutronics Facility, Newport Beach
Vapor intrusion assessment activities are ongoing for volatile organic compounds (principally trichloroethylene, a carcinogen) that are present in soil vapor beneath some residential and commercial properties at the former Ford Aeronutronics site in the City of Newport Beach.

The Water Board has created a subscription email list specifically for information about the Former Ford Aeronutronics Facility. Signing up will allow the Water Board to email you about upcoming public participation events or when reports documenting results have been uploaded to GeoTracker, a state database that contains data and information about the Ford site.
