Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Site Cleanup Program (SCP) Case Proposed Closures

The following case closures are currently proposed for consideration by the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board (Santa Ana Water Board):

• UST case closures that meet the criteria of State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) Resolution No. 2012-0061 and the Low-Threat UST Case Closure Policy.
  
  
• SCP case closures that meet the requirements of State Water Board Resoltion 92-49


A 60-day public comment period has been provided for all proposed UST case closures, and a 30-day public comment period has been provided for all proposed SCP case closures. Comments on a specific case must be submitted to the Santa Ana Water Board by the deadline listed in the table below.

After the applicable comment period closes, comments received will be reviewed and responses will be provided. If no comments are received during the comment period, the closure process will proceed.

Some proposed UST case closures may be considered by the State Water Board instead of the Santa Ana Water Board.
