Board Training: Engagement and Shared Expectations

  1. Training and Discussion Item – The Board will spend approximately 4-5 hours in a facilitated discussion on building and maintaining relationships with underserved communities, understanding the importance of community engagement, and how to advance the Board’s Racial Equity Goals through interest-based problem solving and active listening. The discussion will be facilitated by the Office of Public Participation, and will include skills training, a conversation on shared expectations, and comments from stakeholders.
