Produced Water Pond Work Plan

A Work Plan was prepared by Central Valley Water Board staff in November of 2014 identifying work needed to be completed and an implementation schedule for completion of this progrm by the end of 2016. Status reports will be posted here periodically to identify where we are in the process.

Produced Water Pond Lists

Central Valley Water Board staff has prepared a list of ponds in the Central Valley Region that are, or have been, used for disposal of water produced as a by-product of oil production (produced water). This list is dynamic and will be periodically updated as new information is received or as the status of ponds change.
