- California Uniform Site Assessment Tools
A tool to assist site cleanup project managers to evaluate human health, water quality and other environmental issues in a site assessment. This document incorporates evaluations accepted by both the Regional Boards and the Department of Toxic Substances Control. - Dry Cleaners – A Major Source of PCE in Ground Water

A project proponent can apply for coverage under the General Order for in-situ remediation projects and/or discharge of treated groundwater to land projects. Once accepted, the project proponent will be issued a Notice of Applicability under the General Order including site-specific monitoring requirements for the project. Vapor Intrusion occurs when vapor-forming chemicals migrate from a source of pollution below ground such as contaminated soil, soil vapor, or groundwater into an overlying building. - Office of Human and Ecological Risk, Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)
DTSC has developed DTSC-modified Screening Levels based on the U.S. EPA Regional Screening Levels identify concentration thresholds for contaminant constituents in soil, tap water, and ambient air.

The CLU-IN Web Site, developed by the U.S. EPA, provides information about innovative treatments and site characterization technologies to the hazardous waste remediation community. - Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC)
The ITRC is a public-private coalition working to reduce barriers to the use of innovative air, water, waste, and remediation environmental technologies and processes. ITRC produces documents and training that broaden and deepen technical knowledge and expedite quality regulatory decision making while protecting human health and the environment.
