There will be a maximum of 40 persons permitted on the Tour. Water Board staff will provide an agenda for the tour with times, meeting locations, and driving directions.

Board Business - Oil Field Tour

Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board staff will host an Oil Fields Tour in Bakersfield. A presentation will be given by Cawelo Water District and Board staff on current reuse practices of oil field produced wastewater used for irrigation. Attendees will visit a holding pond used for storage and distribution of produced wastewater for irrigation and overlook the Kern River Oil Field where Board staff will discuss oil field practices. Transportation will be provided to Board Members and staff. Other attendees will need to provide their own transportation.
