WaterTAP (Water Technical Access Portal)
What is WaterTAP?
WaterTAP (Water Technical Access Portal) is a new data system being developed to support the information and business needs of the Division of Drinking Water. It will be a one-stop enterprise data system with streamlined information access for internal staff and external stakeholders. The system will integrate data and document submission, workflow routing, and compliance decision support into an overarching architecture that will connect existing and future data systems under a single sign-in platform.
The Impacts of WaterTAP
WaterTAP will, among other things, consolidate numerous reporting systems into a single ecosystem. Water system users will no longer need to login to multiple systems and accounts to submit reports and documents, access data, manage contact information, and more. Users will be able to simply login to WaterTAP to access all of those things. Individuals or organizations interested in accessing public water data will also be able to login to WaterTAP and access that data in one place.
