Removal of Abandoned Underground Storage Tanks (ROABUST)

The objective of the ROABUST project is the identification and closure of abandoned underground storage tanks (UST) statewide. This project prioritizes facilities located in disadvantaged communities within 1,000 feet of a municipal water supply well for compliance actions. The prioritization of these sites aligns with the State Water Board’s commitment to environmental justice.
