Drinking Water Operator Advisory Committee

The Drinking Water Operator Advisory Committee is made up of eleven members appointed by the State Water Resources Control Board pursuant to Health and Safety Codes section 106898, each representing different segments of the drinking water treatment/ distribution operator field. Members are appointed to staggered four-year terms. The Advisory Committee generally meets twice a year with additional meetings scheduled, as necessary. The Advisory Committee’s duties include making reviewing and making recommendations to the State Water Board on proposed regulations and providing input and feedback on other topics concerning the Drinking Water Operator Certification Program.
