Industrial Storm Water Program - Proposed Storm Water Industrial General Permit Amendment

Proposed Statewide Storm Water Industrial General Permit Amendment

The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is proposing an amendment to the Statewide Storm Water Industrial General Permit, Order 2014-0057-DWQ (Industrial General Permit or IGP) to: (1) incorporate implementation language for TMDLs listed in Attachment E of the IGP, (2) provide incentives for industrial storm water capture, and (3) implement the U.S. EPA sufficiently sensitive method requirements. (See schedule below for informational staff workshops on proposed amendment.)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT The State Water Board is accepting written comments on the proposed amendment to the Industrial General Permit.

  • Public Notice – The deadline to receive comments is Wednesday January 31, 2018 by Noon (posted 12/01/2017)

The State Water Board will hold a public hearing to accept oral comments on the Proposed Industrial General Permit Amendment. A quorum of the Board may be present; however, no State Water Board action will be taken. The public hearing will be:
